This land-based training session in the boatyard will be focused on boat tuning and spinnaker rigging.
This practical workshop is ideal for anyone looking to improve their setup, boost performance, or feel more confident handling a spinnaker - all in a relaxed, hands-on environment before the season gets underway.
We'll cover:
- Mast rake, shroud tension, and basic tuning principles
- Sail shape and controls explained simply
- Spinnaker rigging layout and correct setup
- Hoist, gybe, and drop systems (practised on land)
- Common rigging problems and how to fix them
- Time for questions and boat-specific advice
This session will take place entirely ashore in the club boatyard, making it a great opportunity to learn, adjust your rig, and troubleshoot without the pressure of being on the water.
