Exciting New Training Fleet Arriving for the 2026 Season

Margate Yacht Club is delighted to announce a major investment in our training programme with the arrival of a brand-new fleet of club training boats for the 2026 season.

These modern, high-quality dinghies from Hartley Boats will enhance the experience for sailors of all abilities, from complete beginners through to those looking to develop racing skills.

Our New Fleet Will Include:

• 2 x Hartley H12
• 2 x Hartley H12.2 (with race rig and spinnaker)
• 2 x Hartley H15 (with race rig and spinnaker)

All boats will be supplied with brand-new covers and launching trollies, ensuring they are ready for many seasons of training, coaching, and club sailing. More information on the dinghies can be found here.

This exciting new fleet will replace our much-loved Visions and Qbas, which have served the club proudly over many years. After countless hours on the water helping sailors learn and progress, they will now take a well-earned and graceful retirement.
